This policy explains how JDavies Carpentry & Building uses the details you send through this website. JDavies Carpentry & Building is responsible for your information (the data controller). Contact: jdaviescarpentry12@gmail.com, Neath Port Talbot.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or call us from this website, we collect what you give us: usually your name, phone number, email, postcode or town, and details of the job. We count website visits with a tool that does not use cookies and does not identify you.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. This is either because you asked us to (to take steps towards a contract) or because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to people who contact us. We never sell your details or send you marketing you have not asked for.

Who sees it

• JDavies Carpentry & Building, to deal with your enquiry.
• Hall Trade Web, who build and run this website for us, and the services they use to host it and deliver enquiries (such as Cloudflare). They only handle your details to keep the site working and pass your enquiry to us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep records for up to 6 years for tax and legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it. Email jdaviescarpentry12@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
